Day #156

School is still a part of my life, as most of you know, as I still have tests left before I get to leave for summer vacation. Today I've been studying for five whole hours, and I'm probably going to study some more after I've made and eaten dinner.
It's been a long time since I've been so productive with my school work, and it feels really good to be doing something productive with myself besides working on the blog. I love the feeling being productive gives you and the feeling of being able to fall asleep knowing that today, I accomplished something.

Day #155

Introducing someone to something new is always great, especially if you yourself like it. I got the opportunity to take my boyfriend out for sushi (something most of you know I'm very passionate about) for the first time today.
Not having tried it before, he was fairly sceptical towards the whole "raw fish"-concept, just like most people who eat it for the first time, but it turns out he actually liked it. Not a new favorite, but he admitted that it wasn't all awful. Watching him use chopsticks for the first time was (as always) an experience all on it's own, but I have to say that he turned out to be quite the natural talent.
I love introducing people to new things, because that means that you get to teach them something, either about the thing or themselves. You'll always be remembered as the person who was able to show them something new, and I think that's one of the best things to be remembered for.

Day #154

I turned twenty today, making this the obvious positive choice for today, making me a full year older.
I feel like the 19-20 year in my life was extremely important, filled with positive and important experiences. Graduating, moving out from my parent's house and starting to learn how to stand on my own two feet. My blog grew exponentially, making me feel like people actually cared about what I do and what I think, appreciating the content I make.
I think I've learned a lot about myself and the world around me in this past year, hopefully making me a smarter and better person. I've met so many new people, collecting life experience and memories, and I can't wait to see what the next year in my life has in store for me.

Day #153

Bildresultat för smo & fro   Today's positive choice is very simple, but very important to me. I went out for smoothies with one of my dearest friends, whom I haven't seen in almost a full year. I've missed her a lot, and getting to catch up for a few hours was such a nice, refreshing experience. I got to tell her so much, and the best of all, I got to hear more about her life. Of course, we've kept in contact through our cellphones via both snapchat and instagram, but it's not the same as sitting next to eachother, talking directly to eachother instead of through screens.
We went to Smo&Fro, which is one of my personal favorite smoothie places in town since they're always tasty no matter if I always skip the extra sugar, and my friend seemed to enjoy my choice, hopefully getting a positive experience. I had my personal favorite smoothie: banana/blueberry.
I miss a lot of my friends from home, and getting to see one of them, even for a few hours, always makes me extremely happy, even overjoyed, and boosts my energy for several days afterwards. Friends are incredibly important to me, making up most of my life and I spend most of my time either with them or talking to them.
(This was posted late due to me taking some time off during the weekend, spending time with my boyfriend and celebrating my birthday.)
