Moana

The recent Disney movie has been the subject of much discussion, especially since Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson is in one of the main roles, the demigod Maui.
Moana is the cheifs daughter in a small community on a small Polynesian island, growing up with the stories of the stolen heart of Te Fiti. It got stolen by Maui a long time ago, and everyone besides the oldest lady in the village believes it is no more than a legend. But when Moana grows up into a young woman, she realises that the heart of Te Fiti, which is said to contain the power of creation, needs to be returned. Her island and it's surroundings is suffering from the absense of the heart, and when the eldest of the village claims the ocean has chosen Moana, the young woman realises that she is the one who has to travel to Maui across the ocean, and then find the location of Te Fitis heart so it can be returned to it's original location and restore peace.
Without the traditional story of the female antagonist falling in love with a male character, the movie is something special in the ways of Disney. I fell in love with the Moana character the minute I saw her, and the storyline is great.
I would definetly recommend this movie to everyone who considers themselves to be interested in watching it.
