When in New York, Quinn suffers an intense car accident, getting hit and forced to spend time in a wheelchair at home until her legs heal up. But upon her arrival home, she soon notices that something isn’t as it should, and starts to wonder if something more sinister is at work. Her father calls upon paranormal investigators, who confirm that Quinn when attempting to contact her mother, instead managed to contact something completely different, which is now ruining her inside and out.
Not a personal favorite, the movie didn’t manage to scare me all too much, though it was an interesting concept to follow along, and as the prequel, it of course added information that has been missing from the first two movies, for example how the relationship between Elise, Specs and Tucker came to be.
Although not a good horror movie, it is a good film altogether.
