Rings

Bildresultat för rings movie"First you watch it, then you die." A video has been circling the internet, finding it's way to unknowing victim; everyone who watches it, dies seven days later.
Julia's boyfriend disappears after moving to college. Holt stops answering his phone, she doesn't hear from him via skype... She travels to him, worried sick, and finds that he, among other students have watched the video. Holt tells her that if you make a copy of the tape, and show it to someone else, the girl in the video doesn't kill you. Julia watches the tape to save her boyfriend, but that's not all. Julia's tape is longer than normal, she recieves information no one else has. Julia believes she is chosen to help, and with the help of her boyfriend and a biology professor, she goes on a quest to help Samara, the girl in the video who has murdered several people.
The movie is completely accurate according to the original movies about Samara, which is always a good thing. Filling in a few of the blancs in Samara's story, and gives us even more information about the horrors surrounding her, this movie managed to capture my interest. However, it didn't scare me, unless you count the one successful jumpscare in it.
Despite that, I would recommend that you watch Rings, especially if you're a fan of the horror genre/the original movies.
