Hide

I see everything that others do not
I see how your stomach is tied in a knot
How you’re suffering, no one can tell
You’re good at lying when going through hell

I see the shadows from the lack of sleep
How you follow others as though you are sheep
Is there any original thought left in your mind
Has your dear leaders already made you unkind?

Telling yourself you’re strong, you’re a fighter
But really, it’s your fault the world isn’t brighter
You wear a mask, you show us no anger or fear
yet I know nothing of your calm is sincere

You hide everything away, but I can see past
I know your mind isn’t built to last
There’s so much you should get off your chest,

see those you don’t talk you, know you the best
