A Good Person

So, while I normally don't agree with almost anything that Miley Cyrus does or says, she's not really one of my favorite people, but this quote by her is actually one of my personal favorite quotes, because it embodies one of the things I believe in the most.
I have always believed that no particular practice makes you a good person. Following a religion, going to church, or idolizing a good person, doesn't make you a good person. Your personal actions and actually being a good person makes you a good person. It's not something you can just flick your wrist and acheive.
If you're not born with the traits of a good person, and you won't make a concious effort to become one, nothing is going to make you into a better individual. Just like you don't become a worse person by going out, you become a worse person because you either are one, or make very poor, bad choices for you and the people around you. A bad person puts others and themselves down, or even ruins something for someone else.

Being a good or bad person does not co-relate to your religion, your hobbies, your skincolor or anything else but the choices they actually make and how they make impressions in other people's lives.       You're always a good person, as long as you treat other people as a good person does, and you're always a bad person when you treat people as a bad human does. Nothing in your other
