It Comes At Night

Image result for it comes at night   An American psychological horror film, It Comes At Night takes place at Paul and his wife Sarah's house, where they are hiding with their son Travis and the family dog after an infectious outbreak has ravaged the world. After being alone for so long, one night the family's  home is broken in to, and they get to know Will, a man who's family is also in danger. After much consideration, Paul's family takes Will's family in to protect them, enjoying the company of other people, something they've been missing for quite a while. Travis and the other couple's boy, Andrew, get along despite the age difference of 11 years, and Sarah and Kim bond over their children. For a couple of days, peace lives in their now shared home. However, the trust is shallow and easily shattered between the two families, especially after Paul starts thinking that the other couple's son might have contracted the disease.
Playing on the classic strings paranoia, mistrust and fear of what can't be seen, the movie manages to be interesting for a full 91 minutes, without telling us anything about the actual plague. We know nothing of what causes it, how it's spread or anything else. The finishing plot twist was also a nice touch.
An interesting movie I do not regret watching, however, I did not consider this horror movie particularly scary. It's enjoyable, interesting and brings forth a new concept of film making, but it is not scary. However, I do recommend you watch it, you won't regret it.
